Clear and respectful information handling

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Digital Revenue collects, why we collect it and the choices you have. The short version: we will never sell your information, and we will not send marketing without consent.

Legal informationPrivacy PolicyWebsite TermsComplaints
No spam. No sale of your information.We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, website briefs, uploaded words, images or business assets. We send marketing only when you have chosen to receive it, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

1. Who we are

Digital Revenue (ABN 83 104 368 076) provides review, website and custom web-application services from Victoria, Australia. Questions about this policy can be sent to peter@digitalrevenue.com.au.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the website or work with us, we may collect:

  • your name, email address, phone number and location;
  • business names, ABNs, website addresses, service details and project requirements;
  • website briefs, edit requests, messages, coupon details and communication history;
  • logos, photographs, brand manuals, documents and other files you choose to upload;
  • your marketing preference and records of consent or unsubscribe requests; and
  • limited technical and security information such as IP address, browser information, verification events and anti-abuse results.

3. How we collect information

We generally collect information directly from you when you complete a form, request the free book, use a coupon, verify your email, upload an asset, contact Peter or engage Digital Revenue. With your permission, we may also review public business information such as your website or Google Business Profile when preparing a project.

4. Why we use it

We use information to respond to enquiries, deliver requested material, verify access, prepare proposals, build or update websites and applications, manage projects and client records, administer coupons, prevent abuse, maintain security, comply with law and improve our services.

Requesting information or a service does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. Where a form offers optional updates, we record and follow the choice you make.

5. When information is shared

We may give limited information to service providers that help us operate the website and deliver a requested service—for example cloud hosting, secure storage, email delivery, security, domain registration and other approved project tools. They receive only the information reasonably needed for that work.

We may also disclose information where you ask or authorise us to, where required by law, or where reasonably necessary to protect people, systems or legal rights. These disclosures are not a sale of your information.

6. Cloud and overseas processing

Digital Revenue uses cloud-based providers, including Cloudflare for website hosting, security and storage, and Emailit for email delivery. These providers may process or store information using infrastructure outside Australia. Locations can change as providers operate global networks.

7. Storage and security

We use access controls, server-side validation, email verification, encrypted secrets and protected cloud storage appropriate to the services we provide. No internet service can promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to prevent misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access.

We retain information only while it is reasonably needed for the purpose collected, an active or prospective business relationship, security, recordkeeping or legal obligations. Temporary verification codes and sessions have shorter expiry periods.

8. Cookies and local saving

The website uses strictly necessary session cookies for verified access and security. Website Brief and Website Edit forms may also save drafts on your device so you can continue later. Cloudflare Turnstile helps prevent automated abuse and may process technical information for that purpose.

9. Access, correction and deletion

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, withdraw marketing consent or ask us to delete information that is no longer required. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security or legitimate business reasons. Contact peter@digitalrevenue.com.au.

10. Privacy concerns

Please send a privacy concern to peter@digitalrevenue.com.au with enough detail for us to investigate. We will acknowledge it promptly and explain the outcome. Our full process appears on the Complaints page.

If the Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles apply to a particular matter, nothing in this policy limits the rights or obligations they provide.
